“GothCruise XX: Noir Noir Sails Again” Events Overview
January 30 – February 7, 2027

Event descriptions are below the chart:Pre-Cruise Meetup (Day 0)
A chance to meet up and mingle before the night before the cruise starts.

All Aboard Meet n’ Greet (Mandatory) (Day 1)
Group introductions, lanyard handout, and a rundown of important info. Wear a band t-shirt or other goth event t-shirt as a conversation starter (or don’t– that’s fine too!)

Dance Events (Club Nights)
Private dance parties with our own DJs and a cash bar (drink packages work too). This year we are returning to one of our favorite GothCruise themes, that is of course “Noir Noir”. (Cue the narrator):

RETRO NOIR (Day 2): Back when the world was black and white, the streets had a certain aroma… cheap whiskey, unfiltered cigarettes, and trouble wearing lipstick. Every gumshoe had a case he couldn’t crack. Every dame had a story she wouldn’t tell. Now we’re walking straight into that grainy-film fog once again. So put on a trench coat, tilt that fedora low, pull those silk stockings up to the garters, make sure that boa is just feathers. Our DJs will be spinning dark tunes that match the mood; then you can dance like the night’s got questions you don’t feel like answering.

FUTURE NOIR (Day 5): The future: that long, rain-soaked alley that never quite dries. Yellow and blue neon signs flicker overhead like they got a grudge; every shadow’s jacked-in to something that you want to avoid. Robots and replicants clog the sidewalk, terminators track your every move. You step into some soulless, seedy joint, looking for a place to disappear, but the air tastes like fried circuits and bad decisions. Dancing may be your only way out. The soundtrack for this shape of things to come will be orchestrated by our DJs, so slip into whatever passes for style in what’s left of this rusty, chrome‑plated century. The city’s thrumming now, and you’re part of the machinery.

Royal Caribbean “Dress Your Best” Nights (Day 2 and Day 5)
Our dance parties often occur on the same nights as what used to be known as the ship formal nights. Since there is no longer a ship dress code beyond the normal dining attire requirements (no swimwear, tanktops, shorts, or bare feet), it’s fine to head straight from our event to the dining room. You can also pack separate formal attire if you’d like.

Dice, Drinks, and Depeche Mode (Day 4 & Day 6)
Private, casual gaming events — bring a game to play, or pick another game from the collection. There may be a three part DnD campaign (details will follow if that materializes). Enjoy gothy tunes playing in the background.

Dice, Drinks, and Disco (Day 7)
Possible DnD campaign wrap-up session or play another game of your choice during our day at sea. Time and location to be decided by the players, who will be subject to the ship’s normal soundtrack.

Pub Crawl (Day 3)
Exactly what it sounds like. This is an opportunity to break out your favorite gothic attire for a night out (just remember to keep it PG).

Black Holes (Every Day)
Outside of the scheduled events, “black holes” frequently form on the ship. Keep an eye on the Royal Caribbean messenger app to see where people are gathering (the app does not require the wi-fi package)

Group Excursion: The Party Bus and Vibes Beach Bar (Day 6)
Optional unofficial group excursion: Join fellow GothCruisers on the tie-dye-painted Bob and Elvis Party Bus for a 3.5-hour St. Kitts adventure featuring a brief island tour, cocktails, and music, ending with beach time at Frigate Bay’s Vibes Beach Bar. Sign up in the Royal Caribbean app and let us know that you’re going. Let’s paint that bus black!

Group Dining (Every Day)
Our group dining time is 8:30pm. If you selected a different time when you booked, it’s automatically changed once you purchase your GothCruise ticket and are added to the official group. If you get hungry earlier, you can always stop by the buffet for a snack.

Goth Soup (Every Night, usually)
After dinner, people often head to the hot tubs for a soak, so don’t forget to pack your swimsuit.
